Dear Friends and Family, (I'm being redundant)
Some of you already know and some have yet to find out, but this year for the Fall of 2013, I have been OFFICIALLY accepted to Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia! There is so much to prepare for and so much to do before I make my way up north, and I would absolutely appreciate prayers for this big change in my life. I will be living on campus and I cannot wait to see what God has in store!
I will be heading to Liberty to go after a degree in Family and Child development. What is that you ask? Well.... the purpose of the Family and Child development major is to prepare one to acquire the values, knowledge, and skills necessary to be proactive to strengthen the function of the contemporary family from a Biblical perspective, specifically in the areas of human development/family studies. (That's from their website, I'm not good at explaining it) My deep passion is to one day run my own orphanage/home for struggling single mothers/ and a place to provide peace and shelter for those who are in need and hurting.
I'm not sure where God is going to take me exactly, but I know He has it all worked out!
